Message: I never write reviews, but I really felt the need to leave a review for American Transmissions. They were so professional, honest & friendly. I even got a little car tutorial while I waited lol cause I am a female that doesn't know ANYTHING about cars or mechanics. So I was told by a guy at the car wash I should check my transmission because it was making a scraping noise & it felt like something was wrong with the gear. I took it to a mechanic who told me that I do need a transmission & it would cost $3, 500 & I would have to leave my car there for 2 weeks. I decided to get a 2nd opinion, so I called American Transmission. they told me I can bring it in right away for a free diagnosis. They test drove my car & they told me my transmission was totally fine & that I just needed front brakes. They did my front brakes, pads & rotors for only $200 & they even did a free oil change & tire rotation. Then they showed me the old parts & how they were worn down. Then we test drove the car again & the noise was gone & everything was perfect. I can't express my gratitude enough they literally saved me THOUSANDS of. $$$$ by being so honest. The whole thing took only an hour & 1/2 and the owner Frank let me stay in the waiting area w/my lil dog & he was so nice to her! I will def only be coming here for future repairs & I without a doubt recommending American to all my friends & family. Such a pleasure THANK YOU SO MUCH GUYS!

Message: I had my transmission rebuilt and brakes done at american transmission the car rides perfectly they are reasonable and professional 10/10 would recommend them to anybody seeking car repairs.
