Message: Our 1996 Buick Skylark was dying a slow death. Automotive electronics are just out of my league, and a computer swap did not fix the problem. Thankfully I found Eastern Electronics and I decided to send the instrument cluster off for repair. The result was a completely refurbished cluster that works PERFECTLY! Mr. Chadwick went above and beyond to provide excellent service and provided more time and materials than would normally be necessary to fix an instrument cluster. I had offered to pay extra for his efforts but he refused stating the agreed price was the price.. My car had suffered water damage from a wreak which complicated things all the more.. Not to mention the anti theft problem. Still: I received back my original refurbished cluster. It was well cared for sent back to me without a scratch. Message: I own a 2003 Nissan Pathfinder LE. It has 132000 miles and still gets the job done. I’ve been driving around with a “ Check Engine “ light lit and a non working gas gauge for the past year.. The code reader indicated a faulty gas gauge. This reading was false and was being caused by a defect in the cluster. I found Eastern Electronics here on Google and finally had an opening in my schedule to head over to the shop for service.. When I arrived I went into the work bench area and knew immediately that I was in the right place. There are countless clusters and cluster parts all over the shop along with their tools. This is what they do. After removing my cluster and doing some testing they explained to me exactly what they were going to do and how long it was going to take (approximately 1hour). It was a nice day and I waited outside in the yard.. When the work was completed he quickly reinstalled the cluster and the gas gauge was working. I got home and connected the code reader and erased the code that was present. End result. check engine light is off. gas gauge is working and I can now pass inspection.. With the Covid complications in the car market I can now keep my trusty Pathfinder on the road until things hopefully return to normal and I can source a new vehicle.. I highly recommend Eastern Electronics. no nonsense professional guys and their work is great and reasonably priced.
